Joe Downs joins 44News with more than two decades of experience in broadcast journalism. He has spent the past eight years in Evansville, working as a sportscaster, as well as media relations director for both the University of Evansville and the Evansville Thunderbolts hockey team. Joe was born and raised in Maine, and has worked in television in Grand Junction, CO, Pittsburgh, PA, Harrisonburg, VA, Lima, OH and Lake Charles, LA before arriving in Evansville.
