With the weather warming up, that can only mean one thing, holiday world and splashin’ safari is getting close to open up their gates, and now, they’re looking to hire before the park opens
From 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, Holiday World will be at Indiana Tech in Evansville for a hiring event to help them fill out their summer staff.
The park is looking to fill more than 2,000 positions to help them run the park this summer. Most of the positions are part time, and the park says they’ve got numerous open positions for all different kinds of employees.
“Holiday world is a lot like a village or a town," said Sabrina Jones, media relations manager at Holiday World. "We have a lot of positions available for many different personalities, so everything from attractions, which are the people who get to press all the buttons on our ride, to our food department and throughout the park, behind the scenes, and the warehouse. We’re looking to fill just about everything today.”
The park will be celebrating its 75th anniversary season this year, and they look forward to getting closer to normal, but they said safety is still at the front of their mind.
Holiday World hasn’t came out with their covid guidelines yet for workers or park goers, but Jones told 44News that announcement will be made soon. The park in Santa Claus says employment comes with extra perks like free season tickets and a partial scholarship for employees that attend Indiana Tech.
If you're unable to attend Monday's event, you can apply for open positions at Holidayworldjobs.com.
