In the area of Kentucky 136 just before the intersection at 41 South, first responders were assisting another vehicle that had slid off the road due to black ice:

HPD also gave caution to motorists traveling on the Twin Bridges between Henderson and Evansville, calling the bridges and overpasses extremely dangerous.

"Please use extreme caution if you have to get out," one HPD Officer said Wednesday. "If you don't have to get out, I suggest staying at home. First responders all over the county are working multiple accidents due to vehicle accidents due to black ice."

It's a cool, but beautiful start to our Thursday! Conditions will hold together for an absolutely gorgeous afternoon. Highs will still be below normal, but we'll take some high 60s under mostly sunny skies. The 70s could make a come back as soon as tomorrow!
