After only dipping to 53° this morning and despite some southerly winds reaching 20 mph at times, afternoon highs are only expected to reach back into the upper 50s and low 60s for many of us. Added cloud cover ahead of our next round of rainfall will see to keeping our temperatures cooler this afternoon.
As far as those rain chances go, they'll begin to inch in over our northernmost counties as early as tpnight before spreading across the remainder of the Tri-State overnight and into Saturday morning. From there, the rain will continue on and off throughout our Saturday, making for a particularly dreary and damp day overall. Temperatures will even struggle to reach the mid and upper 50s for many of us and unfortunately things may get even cooler come Sunday.
Expect most of our areas to receive some hefty rainfall amounts from this system as it sits over the Tri-State for the weekend. The last of the rain should exit east of the region Sunday afternoon just as temperatures peak in the upper 40s and low 50s .
