The Greenville Fire Department extinguished a car fire Saturday morning, after a vehicle caught flames.
The incident happened just before 4:30 a.m.
The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Office also responded to scene. Once they got there, they found a car completely engulfed in fire. It was so large, it was threatening to spread to a house nearby.
The fire was put out before that could happen and while the car was totaled, there was no damage to the house. No injuries have been reported either.
The Greenville Fire Department says the car hasn't moved from the same spot in over two months.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the MSCO.
